Here is the full procedure for downloading Airtel digital tv software manually:

1) Start ur STB.
2) Press exit button two times when the screen shows "Please wait initializing" message. After pressing the exit button two times u will see the two light indicators red and yellow glows together, this means u r going in right way. Check screen shot:
3) After pressing exit button twice press 2465 from ur stb remote.
4) U will see the below screen after pressing 2465:


5) Let the software be downloaded and don't interrupt power supply during this process.
6) after 100% download of the software the stb will automatically restarts.

Congratulations, Now u r having latest software installed on ur airtel digital tv STB.

Note: This process may differ in diff STBs.

Caution: -Don't use any number other than 2465, if u use other number this may damage ur stb 
- Don't interrupt power supply during software download process, because this may damage the stb.
